Mars Attack/What will sports look like in 50 years

What will sports look like in 50 years? 

Sport has changed so much in the last 50 years; we have seen changes in safety, in training, in rules, and even in what we consider sport (looking at you eSports!)

So what will your favourite sports look like in 50 years?

Choose one of the following sports, and I want you to use your imagination to describe…

Netball

Rugby

Volleyball

Softball

eSport

1. What will the field/court/stadium look like?

The field will look big with lots of chairs. It will have a few lights..

2. How have the athletes who play the sport changed?

There will be robot Referees and coaches. When you're on the game and you sub out there will be robots that give you water to drink.

3. What changes in technology will make the game better?

The amount of time they play will change to 1 hour.  40 mins for the first half and 40 the second half then  20 for the final round.

4. How will people watch your sport in the future?

They can watch it on the news or the tv if not then they can come and sit on the chairs and watch people play.

You are a reporter for the New Zealand Herald, and have just heard the announcement that the 2072 Olympics will be taking place on Mars.

Sekope Kepu

 This morning a famous rugby player named Sekope Kepu came to our school. He was born in Australia but now lives in Auckland, NZ. He used to live on the same street as me on Maybury street when he was little.

 name is Tevita and I am 11 years old and I have 2 sisters and I have 2 brothers and I have 44 cousins! My Culture is Tongan I was born in Tonga.  I like to play games but when my  mum calls me I run straight to her.  I am really good at helping people. I help my mum by doing the dishes and vacuuming. I clean up the girls room while my brothers clean up the boys room. It makes my mum happy when I help and it makes me feel good to be helpful.

 I want to be a  youtuber when I grow up. I want to play games and talk about the games and get lots of subscribers. I will be rich and famous. I will live in America in a mansion with a pool.

I am good at helping people and my mum and my dad I help my dad by doing his chores. My dad works hard and works long hours so make his bed and fold his washing so when he comes home he can relax. I like to play fetch with the dog and my dad.

FiaFia rehearsal

 Yesterday we had a fiafia rehearsal. Everyone went to sit under te kapua (the cloud)

All of the fiafia groups danced on the stage. The audience clapped and cheered everyone

Felt happy and excited. I’m in the line dancing group in line dancing the dance is the git up 

The git up dance is a good dance but I'm not going to the fiafia that is sad because the people are gunner have fun but I'm not too sad I’m so Busy with the couch.
